Zimmerman Family

Meet the Zimmerman family~ with their newest addition, little Eli! I was so happy to be able to be the photographer for their first family photo session! I had fun with these guys, as they are good friends of ours! I hadn't seen little Eli in person since right after he was born, and he was a cutie then, so as you can imagine, he has grown into such a sweet & handsome little guy! Mom & dad are very proud, as they should be! He is going to be quite the little charmer I have a feeling... and hopefully once our little guy arrives, they will be buds & playmates! I hope Matt & Emily enjoy their sneak-peek! They are such a cute & blessed little family!

Stacie & Kyndall

Love these! I had SUCH a fun afternoon with these two girls! Meet Stacie & Kyndall-- you can tell these two just adore one another, such a great bond between mother & daughter :) We got to play with chalk & bubbles & put some of my colorful chairs to work! One of my favorites is the two of them in their chairs, hands crossed with the wind hitting their curls-- LOVE it! So girly & fun! Kyndall had such a contagious smile & kept us laughing throughout the entire session. There's just nothing much better than watching a child have a ton of fun~ they are just such care-free spirits! Ahhhh... to be a kid again! :) I hope Stacie & Kyndall enjoy their sneak peek as much as I enjoyed spending the afternoon chatting & giggling with them!

Maverick D.

Meet little 8 day old Maverick! Can't say enough about this little guy :) He was sooo good and slept almost the entire session~ no coaxing needed here! And he posed for me just like a pro. I am so excited to share these for the Domeyer family! He was so tiny... it's hard to believe how fast these little ones grow! He will be running around with his big bro Mason in no time! Photographing newborns just puts all of life into perspective and shows just how important life's little joys are! Enjoyed this guy to pieces~

The Krause Family

Hello again! There will be LOTS of blog posts this week & next... spring has sprung, and the landscape shows it! I LOVED this shoot-- what is better than a beautiful open field of grass, dandelions & blue skies?! Not much! Meet the Krause family~ Keith, Val, Kayla, Kyle, & Kendra! I've known this family for quite some time, as Kyle was in my high school class. They are such a fun family and were up for anything I had to throw at them! I got to roam around their home and fields surrounding, and was able to find some pretty fun & unique setups that quenched my need to do something fun & different at every shoot. They even included their pups! I really hope they enjoy their family sneak peek! I had fun taking them & had a hard time selecting from such a nice looking group of images!

Brady W.

Tonight's post is Brady! What a fun little guy he is... & could totally be a little model~ he did just about everything we asked & loved the camera! I was telling his mom & dad how well behaved he was & how awesome he did! I love when kids enjoy the shoot & have a bunch of fun!! We went to where he lives for this session, and despite the recent flooding devastation, we shot in some pretty neat spots & were able to go out to the newly formed "beach" in front of their place where the water had receded. Brady's mom found a neat log that we used as a prop & Brady loved playing in the sand! He was all smiles thanks to his mom & dad being goofy behind the camera & I had a ball walking around with them & photographing their little man!
Enjoy~

Quite the Journey...

Today, I thought I'd take a moment on the day before mother's day to shed a little light on my journey thus far. This week I will hit the 20 week mark. WOW. It has gone by so fast-- it seems like only yesterday we found ourselves staring in amazement at an ultrasound screen and saw our teeny apple-seed sized human being-- with a tiny little fluttering heartbeat. What a sight it was. And now I am almost halfway to becoming a mom to this little bundle of joy. The wonder of it all just simply amazes me. We are to see and find out the sex of our little baby wonder in 2 days. We are so very excited. I will hopefully keep the blog posts coming throughout this journey, because there are lots of moms & moms to be out there who share my excitement in this very exciting time during our lives. So as a shout out to all you moms, moms to be, or ladies who long to be a mom someday, or even those who have loved & lost their little ones... I wish you all the very best mothers day.
