The Joys of Summer!

Meet the lovely Miss Katie! She is a senior at West Delaware. And boy oh boy did we have a warm night for her session... BUT she still managed to rock her session & look AMAZING in her senior portraits!! Summer has been filled to the brim with senior sessions- - and I have 4 more to go! I just love working with them, and each & every one has been nothing short of stunning! Katie's session was so much fun-- I had a blast with Katie & her mom! It was VERY hot to say the least, but we had a great session regardless, and it didn't even phase Katie! And I came away with WAAAYYY too many images to pick from, and so I am always excited to over-share from these sessions. I just can't choose!! SO... here ya go Miss Katie!! Enjoy!! And have a great senior year!

What an amazing day all around -- plain and simple. I can honestly say that I don't think I've had as much fun shooting a wedding as I did at this one! They are always hard work, no matter what, but all of it seems to be forgotten when I pull up the STUNNING images on my computer and remember the one heck-of-a-party these guys threw!! I know many of you know that I don't shoot many weddings, and I have my own reasons for shooting the ones that I do. I had many friends and family in and at this wedding, and have gotten to know Ashley over the past few months-- these two are totally perfect for one another. :) I am so happy I had the privilege to share in their day and capture it in all its awesome-ness! I had SO much fun on the bus & in the bar with these guys, and am truly honored that they trusted in me to shoot their big day. And I am absolutely giddy excited in anticipation of sharing the images with them and everyone. So I will let the photos speak for me now-- ENJOY!!!! {And special thanks to my sis for assisting & Kelli Leibold of Shooting images for letting me borrow some gear!}

Jumpin' Around

I swear, I am so incredibly lucky to do what I do! I have been having an absolute blast with my seniors!!! Miss Rachel was absolutely amazing in front of the camera-- and what a sense of style she has! Such fun clothes! :) I still want to steal her adorable mint polka-dot shirt... 

Rachel, her mom, sister and I had such a good time galavanting throughout the town & country, and I tell you what, this girl has got some ups!! Holy cow can she jump :) We also did a bit of joking around... 'horse laugh' was stated quite often, as I will do just about anything to get a true smile to come out!! Rachel did so great, and I am proud to showcase her sneak peek here on my blog! Enjoy~

Rain, rain- go away!

Alright boys & girls-- it's time to meet Miss Jena! And my oh my is she GORGEOUS!! I have been RAVING about my seniors this year, and Jena did not disappoint! :) She is just as sweet as she is beautiful and I had an absolute blast with Jena, her mom Kim, and her sister Megan! We had a bit of a delayed start, due to the morning downpours we had -- but after it finally held off, we traveled around town and shot some great images! We had to postpone the more 'country' shots, since everything was so soggy & muddy, but we had a fabulous evening with Jena again, and had PERFECT lighting :) Miss Jena out in a gorgeous field full of flowers-- TO DIE FOR stunning! Alright, enough talking, and lets get to the fabulous photos!! Enjoy~
