So I am just a tad bit behind on blogging -- but thought I'd share some fun things I've been up to! Below is a collage of images I have been asked to take for the Delaware County Tourism Guide. And let me tell you, there are some fun things happenin' in Delaware County! This selection of images was from the annual Rhubarb Fest as well as the new Whitewater Park grand opening! Lily Bug

This little spit-fire is gonna break hearts, let me tell ya! I have known Lily since the day she was born and every single time I see her, I can't get over her spice for life, her sweet little smile and by golly those lashes - they get me every time! She is turning into such a beautiful little lady and she keeps me on my toes every time. :) Enjoy ~

An extra special Mom + Me

These guys get a separate little post :) Meet my sister in-law Jamie and her sweet little babes! They also did a mini mom+me session! They came back to Iowa for a few weeks, and so we were able to snap a few for mom, as she is in the same boat I am with struggling to actually be IN photos with the kiddos! It is so hard to do when you are typically operating the camera! Despite Con not totally being 'into' photos that morning, I'd say it was still a success! And at the end of the session, I threw my two into the mix, which made for quite hysterical actions in order to get them all to look/smile. I did manage to get THE ONE at the end, and trust me, that was THE only one, lol! (except for the comical blooper at the end) 4 kids under the age of 4. They sure are cute though, if you don't mind that I say so myself!

Ahhhh... I love LOVED these mini's! :) I had such a blast meeting all of these moms and their families!! We had a gorgeous evening (a tad bit windy, but still gorgeous!) for the sessions. Below is a small sampling of the amazing images I shot! Enjoy~

Baby Grins

Babies are just the best. And a baby smiling is even better. Meet Hunter - 8 days new. He gave me lots of grins during his session, one REALLY big one seen below. Such a stinker! He is probably smiling because he knows he is spoiled rotten already! And he was such a great sleeper for me. Can you tell he *might* be a football player when he gets older?! :) He is part of a great family - Scott and Shelli couldn't be any luckier to have this lil guy in their lives! I mean - that last photo of Shelli with Hunter, SO so sweet. Becoming parents is just the best, and when I get to share in capturing some of the first photographs as a family, it fills my heart!

Sweet Little Valentine

Meet Bella and her family - I just adore these images! She was 9 days old and so so sweet! She slept like a champ for me and we were able to do LOTS of cute sets with her. Her nursery colors are purple and teal but we had to throw a bit of pink in there for Valentine's Day! I was very anxious to meet this little lady as I took Jason & Krystle's maternity photos a few months back! I am so thankful I am able to capture such important memories for the families I meet! I think Miss Bella is the perfect addition to their sweet family! Enjoy~

Mommy's Little Angel

This little lady spoiled me rotten! She barely made a peep my entire visit - she was quite the little angel - not even pooping or peeing once! (Which does not happen very often photographing newborns... most moms know they are teeny little poop factories!) :) We did a little mini-session at Amy's mom & dad's home, and it worked perfectly! We did quite a few yellow, gray and white setups, as those are the colors of Tessa's nursery! But I asked if we could do just one pink setup, as what girl shouldn't be seen in pink!! Amy is taking motherhood in great stride - I am SO glad she asked to be in a few shots - the last couple are my FAVORITE!! It is such a joy becoming a mom for the first time!
