Back of Camera Envy

These stunning images are of miss Sara. And she is awesome. She put up with some pretty miserable heat and humidity for her session, and she did it all with great style and grace! She is a Starmont H.S. 2015 senior! Sara had some gorgeous outfits for her session! And to say that I LOVED her killer studded boots would be an understatement! There were too many moments where I looked at the back of my camera during her session and I just shook my head… but it was a good headshake… because I was amazed by the images I pulled up and this girl's ability to rock a pose in front of the camera! I hope that everyone enjoys this sneak peek, I had SO much fun with Sara and her mom Lisa!! {who I happen to work with at my other gig! And P.S. she is pretty awesome too.}

Rain or Shine

Meet Haley! She is a West Delaware 2015 senior - and she could seriously do some modeling… :) BUT I am guessing she will be onto bigger and better things in her near future, as she's looking into studies in the medical field! I had SUCH a blast with Haley and her mom (and I briefly met her dad Mike)! The morning started off a little dicey, with rain showers attempting to ruin our plans… but the skies cleared off quickly and we were able to get in her entire session! I just loved all of the outfits these ladies put together and spent much of the morning asking… "oooh! Where'd ya get that?!" Haha! I absolutely LOVE my senior sessions, and I know my job is complete when the senior AND the mom leave saying they wish it wasn't over and that they had SO much fun!! Haley & Tracy, thank you for such a fun morning! Enjoy!

Senior Kickoff

And so it begins!! I am officially not quite done with maternity leave until Tuesday, but with senior season in full swing and with the birth of our second son Reid, I have been MIA much of the summer! With 10 seniors to photograph, it doesn't leave much time! Meet Curtis -- M.V.H.S. 2015 senior! I can't stress enough how quickly my schedule fills… I had to sadly turn away way too many seniors this year, because the ones I booked, booked me almost 1 full year in advance - Curtis included! I shoot natural light only, and focus a lot of time and energy on my seniors as well as editing to make your experience and portraits one of a kind, and the best that they can be! Curtis rocked his session, and I think his portraits showcase it! We took quite a few with his awesome truck, and hit the football field as well! I had a blast hanging out with Curtis and his mom & I hope everyone enjoys his sneak peek!! :)

A Silver Anniversary

Meet David and Sandy!! I am so glad that mother nature decided to cooperate for this couple's second attempt at their anniversary session with MLS! The first failed attempt was to be during what looked like dust tornadoes, gail force winds and a torrential rain downpour… so after a quick phone call to postpone, I was nervous about getting rained out once again! But mother nature went easy on us (besides it being a tad humid) their session went off without a hitch! I am so glad Sandy contacted me about doing some photos for their 25th wedding anniversary! They even brought along some of their favorite sports jerseys to customize their photos! I had a blast working with them, and hope they enjoy their sneak peek and also enjoy many more years together in the future!!

On Love and Pups :)

Ok, ok…. so I may or may not have gone a LITTLE over-board on the sneak-peeks for these two. But only because they ROCK!!! Seriously. I am privileged enough to call these two my friends, and Nicole is extra special because I used to work with her and she is as sweet as they come. :) We still get together every now and then to catch up on lunch dates (which we should totally do more often!) Joel and Nicole were pretty much made for each other, and you can tell in these photographs!! I swear, I have to pinch myself some days to make sure this job of mine is for real - I get to work with the sweetest, most down to earth, and simply the most STUNNING of clients. I remember Nicole asking me (well… TELLING) that I had better be doing wedding photography the day she gets engaged. And well, she's engaged, and although I am not really that big into weddings (for many reasons) but for these two, I could not say no. :) They will be married this fall, and I am SO excited for it to say the least!!! Oh ya, and the super-adorable pup in these photos… well that is Miss Henley. And she will go down in the history books as one of the sweetest most well-behaved dogs I have ever (and probably will ever) work with! She was a rock-star (as if you couldn't already tell in these images!) I hope you all enjoy Joel & Nicole's sneak peek!

Love & Laughter

Meet Ashley & Cody!! I will be photographing their fall wedding this October! I am so excited to share these… we had a GORGEOUS afternoon, and were even able to escape the threat of a few afternoon sprinkles. And the little bit of wind didn't stop us from grabbing some amazing images of these two! I drove up to one of my favorite shooting locations, and these two with their bubbly personalities and love for each other did not disappoint!! I just LOVE the first one, Ashley looks amazing, and SO head-over-heels happy!! As she should be! Can't wait to share in their big day!!

Fast Forward

Remember this little peanut???

I sure do. Aubrey was such a little doll at her newborn session over a year ago, and now she is back, and cuter than ever!! Aubrey's mom and I had SO much fun styling this session-- Although I don't think we really could have gone wrong with anything we put on this little cutie! She is such a little ball of fun and energy, she kept me on my toes and was such a sweetheart! I can't wait to share this sneak peek from her one year session- complete with pretty outfits, gorgeous necklaces, and a fun colorful tutu and cake! And those little polka dot leg warmers… oh goodness! :) Enjoy!!
