Blessed

Words simply can never describe some of the things that happen to me as a photographer. At times, it is fun, at times it is exciting, and even sometime stressful & frustrating. Not every session or creative idea always goes as planned. But when everything comes together just as God intended, that's when the magic really happens. I shared a moment with little Genevieve and her mom, that I will never ever forget. Genevieve had finally fallen asleep, she was all snuggled up into the pretty pink set-up, I looked down and at her to start photographing her and was simply in awe. There was something about seeing that sweet baby girl perfectly curled up in a warm happy place that took me back to the joy of seeing my own & realizing he was all ours. No one else's. I then looked over at Jill and I could see the tears of joy welling up in her eyes. We shared some tears. There is NOTHING in this whole wide world, better than the time you become a mother and a family. For those that wish to experience it, I wish no one anything else. I am so thrilled to capture these moments for the Carpenters, and could't be more excited for them to begin the journey into parenthood! Enjoy~

At home with Nixon

Oh boy! I loooovvve babies :) And Mr. Nixon was so sweet and snuggly. I will keep my words short & sweet on this one, since the images are waaaay cuter than anything I could ever write :) I have been photographing the Lewin family for years, and it is was joy to meet and photograph their newest addition! I gotta give a shout to big brother Noxx-- he was SO quiet during Nixon's session, and he was ever so sweet with his little brother, I can tell he is just SO proud! Enjoy these ~

Ribbons, bows & cute little toes :)

Meet the Hubbard family, with their newest addition-- Miss Chloe! She is such a little sweetheart!!! I work with her mom Katie. They also have a little boy named Owen (almost the same age as our Owen), who is just as sweet. I think he was a tad bit scared of me, but dad managed to tickle a few quick smiles out of him! I enjoyed my time with this beautiful family during their mini-session and I photographed {& snuggled with} miss Chloe separately for her newborn session. She was such a good baby! Although she didn't like being all curled up (like most newborns do) ... this girl was ready to be out of momma's belly and kept wanting to stretch out! It was too funny :) She is one strong little lady already for sure! I am hoping the Hubbard's enjoy their sneak peek!

Awaiting Baby

I just LOOOVED this little mini-session :) Meet Whitney & Scott {& their little babe too} They are a sweet adorable couple I had the privilege to meet last week for their maternity session! Whitney is due with their little boy in January. Whitney looked absolutely glowing, and I can tell these two are so excited to become parents! There really isn't a day any more rewarding & memorable, than the day you meet your child for the first time. I am glad I got to share in this couple's anticipation for when that day comes! Pregnancy is such an amazing gift. They will be amazing parents! I wish them the best in this exciting journey!!

Home Sweet Home

Meet Wes, Jamie, Sy, & Fynn. Seriously, one of theee most adorable families on the planet. :) Wes and Jamie were just blessed with their second child, Miss Fynn Marie, and man is she a cutie patootie! She was a little dream baby for me, not even making a peep the whole time I visited. Wes and Jamie also welcomed me into their AMAZING home for their session, and I made a complete mess of it with all my props, blankets, & goodies!! Lol! But we did have fun, and I can tell Mr. Sy will be an awesome big brother! This family is just as sweet as they come, and I enjoyed photographing them! Enjoy the sneak-peek!

Did I mention I love fall yet??

I feel like I have said it a million times over, but fall is, hands down, my favorite time of year! {As well as my favorite time to shoot!} And this right here is why. Just LOOK at all the fall color bursting out of these photographs!!! I LOOOOVVEE it! :) AND, I love my seniors too. Miss Hannah had a portion of her senior images taken during the peak of color, and I am just dying over here because of the beauty in these shots! She wore the cutest outfit, and her eyes were so amazingly blue-- isn't she gorgeous! We had so much fun during the session, she let me play out some ideas I had, & she even threw some leaves! What a blast! I hope everyone has been enjoying fall as much as I have! Enjoy~

Family, football, & off-roading fun!

I am NEVER disappointed when the Lewin family comes to visit! They are one of my favorites-- I have been photographing their lil man Noxx since he was born. :) And now they are having another little bundle of fun!! {BTW Kasey, you look amazing!!} They always look amazing, have the best ideas for Noxx, and Noxx models for the camera like a pro! What more could a girl ask for?! They had some of the best fall color photos yet-- I just LOVE this time of year! I had a blast working with them as usual, and had fun throwing the football with Noxx & rocking out some seriously awesome dirt-bike images down on an old dirt road. He handles the 'serious face' with the best of 'em, and gave us some good chuckles along the way as well! Enjoy--
