Rain, rain- go away!

Alright boys & girls-- it's time to meet Miss Jena! And my oh my is she GORGEOUS!! I have been RAVING about my seniors this year, and Jena did not disappoint! :) She is just as sweet as she is beautiful and I had an absolute blast with Jena, her mom Kim, and her sister Megan! We had a bit of a delayed start, due to the morning downpours we had -- but after it finally held off, we traveled around town and shot some great images! We had to postpone the more 'country' shots, since everything was so soggy & muddy, but we had a fabulous evening with Jena again, and had PERFECT lighting :) Miss Jena out in a gorgeous field full of flowers-- TO DIE FOR stunning! Alright, enough talking, and lets get to the fabulous photos!! Enjoy~

Snakes, Cow-pies & Rain, Oh my!

How lucky am I to have the most sweet and gorgeous clients!! Miss Allison was nothing short of a dream to photograph-- I am just LOVING my senior shoots this year! Cute outfits, fun locations = 1 happy photographer!! Allison is a 2014 West Delaware senior with some serious style and a sweet personality to match! I won't delve into too much text here, because the images from her rockin' senior session spell it out for me! I had an absolute blast with Allison & her mom Tammy, and will not forget being on the lookout for snakes in the grass and then cow-pies at her family farm/cabin! We wrapped the session up just before the rain! SO much fun! Enjoy--  ;)

Havin' a ball!

Meet the Ries family! Jim, Amy, Lea, Payton & Nolan-- I had an absolute BLAST with this bunch!! Their session was postponed a few times, most recently last Thursday - because of the TERRIBLE heat & humidity! There's nothing worse than suffering through bugs & heat-- so we opted to wait, and SO glad we did! It was absolutely gorgeous out! These guys brought their pup, and a bag of tricks (well, not really, just a bag of sports stuff!) I love it when a family wants to customize, bring ideas & make their session all their own!! And the kids totally had the idea to hold out their favorite ball-- can't take credit for that cool shot!! I hope the Ries family enjoys their sneak peek, and it was a joy working with them!!

Sisters :)

The bond between sisters is an interesting one, and ever-changing. I am remembering growing up with my sister-- our relationship ranged from punching her and giving her a bloody nose, drawing a red line with tape in the bedroom that we had to share, to riding around the yard together with a card taped to the back of our bikes (so it made a flapping motor noise) and building blanket forts in the living room. I can't imagine growing up as a kid without siblings. We got into quite a bit of mischief I am sure... ;)
Meet Kourtney & Jordan-- they are two cute little spunky sisters that came to visit me for a session. It is neat to see the differences in personalities between the kids! They both had the cutest little grins, although it took a bit more work to get one out of miss Kourtney! :) I also had the privilege to photograph her in a vintage dress that is hand-made and that her grandma wore in 1955-- SO cool :) The details on the dress were beautiful. Enjoy the sneak peek!

Horsin' Around

Alright. So I'm just gonna lay it all out on the line here. I kind of went overboard with images here-- BUT it's for good reason... ok, reasons....
Reason #1: Rachel ROCKS.
Reason #2: I LOOOOVVVE horses.
Reason #3: Because I can go overboard whenever I want. I am my own boss!! Hehe!
And the reasons could go on and on all day---
I had the privilege of meeting and photographing miss Rachel and her beloved ponies Hunter & Gadget last week!! I was SUPER duper excited about this from the moment I found out I would be working with not only her, but her furry four-legged pals :) I have loved horses since before I could probably even say the word. And this girl has 2, yes 2 of them, all to herself- JEALOUS much!! Lol!  But in all seriousness here, Rachel is as sweet and beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside! It was an absolute breeze working with her. And I can't take all the credit for the fan-tabulous horse shots, as I had much help with making them a success. My aunt Vicki & Rachel's mom Michelle were wonderful horse wranglers for me! It can be challenging at times working with the non-human subjects, as obviously you can't tell them "tilt your head a little further to the left" or "perk your ears up & stand still!" Although that would have made my job a lot easier!!! So enough talking, and onto the amazing images -- ENJOY!! {P.S. the horses LOVED Rachel's hat}

Come Rain or Come Shine

Corey & Joni were blessed with an absolutely gorgeous wedding day-- I can't say that I have experienced a wedding that has gone by so perfectly underneath the shadow of a 90% chance of rain! Not even so much as a sprinkle! I was super excited for her, when mother nature decided to cooperate. They had a beautiful ceremony at Backbone State Park surrounded by their closest family and friends. I had so much fun with this group, and they are a perfect couple for each other who's love for one another definitely shows! I wish Corey & Joni only the best in their marriage & new life together as a family! I am so lucky to have shared in their special day. :)
Enjoy!

 Just had to share this one-- a girl's gotta have someone to hold her dress when running to the bathroom!
