Hayley S.

Yet another fun senior shoot! Meet Hayley~ we shot a variety of outfits, locations & styles for this shoot! She was up for anything & we had a great morning session since the sun stayed away just long enough! Many people may think that a nice bright sunny day is great for photos, but there's nothing worse for a photographer than high noon sun! It can cause terrible shadows & in mid-August... some pretty unbearable heat! And as a senior girl, you want great hair & makeup to hold up during your session! Hayley did an awesome job rocking out all the poses, & was a natural~ we even went out to the ball diamond where we got some neat sports shots for her collage! I hope she & her family & friends enjoy her sneak peek!

Melissa W.

I can't say enough about how much fun seniors are to shoot-- you have unlimited possibilities with locations, outfits & poses! And all my seniors this year have been up for anything, and are great in front of the camera! It allows me to do my best with natural lighting. I loved Melissa's session (with the one & only exception of the temp/humidity combo we dealt with that afternoon!) because she had lots of fun outfits(& shoes- loved the polka dots!) & we went to some fun spots! Her mom hooked us up with one that I hadn't shot at before- a rock quarry, that Sue Kramer gave us permission to use(big thanks to Sue!). It had gorgeous lighting and although it was a bit messy in all the lime/mud, it had pretty teal-blue water and when we add-in Melissa, it equaled some great photos! I want to thank Melissa for being so great despite the heat~ I don't think I heard her once complain she was hot or tired! And also thanks to her mom Jane for her help with the session & the water bottle I guzzled down & used to wash my feet off! :) Enjoy!

Bonert Family

Hello again! Tonight's post is for the Bonert Family~ Chad, Rachel & Addison (and a few extra with some cute little cousins for Grandma!!) This session was a warm one-- the humidity has been downright oppressive these days! But, thanks to a little breeze & some shade, we made it bearable! I think we got some pretty cute family photos along with a few for mom & dad, as well as some candids of Addison, who LOVED to run & play! Her cousins & aunt Erica were great helpers with getting little Addison to smile for me :) And... I loved all the colors in the outfits! So cute! Enjoy--

Sarah G.

Meet Ms. Sarah~ my first senior of the year! And I couldn't have asked for a better senior to start off with! We had a bit of a rain delay in the morning, but her & her mom were patient with mother nature & we went to some neat locations got some fun & unique shots for her, so it paid off! Sarah had lots of cute outfits to pick from & she is a softball gal,(heading to state this week!) so of course we hit up the ball diamond too! I hope Sarah & her family enjoy her sneak peek of images! I enjoyed spending the morning with her & her mom (who was a great help carrying towels, the umbrella, & even my camera bag!)

The Schuman Families

Meet the Schuman families! While I can't name all the names, I can say that this group was a lot of fun to work with! Large groups can be bit more work, but we had a gorgeous day & all of the families  were up for anything so it made my job a lot easier! They were all so nice to work with. They even had a few things up their sleeves for me, which resulted in some of my favorite images from the group. :) This included a family tractor & some select props from the shed... so cute & fun! It was a great experience seeing all the family together & I was honored to capture some cherished moments for the Schuman's! I hope they enjoy their sneak peek.

The Mormann Family

Hello again! It's been a busy spring/summer, & have been trying hard to keep up on the blog! Meet the Mormann Family! They were a lot of fun & their cute little kiddos kept me on my toes! We got some uber-cute family shots & also were able to snap a few of the kids individually. Tate was such a good big brother & he will be a little heartbreaker with those deep blue eyes when he gets older! Little Adler made us work a bit, but she had her moment in the sun also, twirling her cute little dress around for me! And I can't say enough about sweet miss Adrian~ she was such a trooper! She didn't make a peep the whole session & just sat perfectly for us! I just adored her sweet dark eyes & long lashes. We were even able to sneak a few in for mom & dad too :) Such cute kids they are blessed with! I hope the Mormanns enjoy their sneak peek!!
