Hoeger Family

Hello there again! Today's post is the Hoeger family-- and they proved that they can withstand about anything weather would throw at us! The first time their session was postponed due to snow & just downright crappy weather, and after planning a second go of it, we had to push their session ahead due to the threat of a down-pour, and we were glad we did, since it would have been a sloppy, rainy mess had we not! So, we re-scheduled again, only to find there were some pretty gusty winds once we finally did head out for the session! Mother nature seemed to be wanting to cause us some headaches.... BUT this family stuck it out & we made the best of the great lighting only the outdoors could provide! We just had to get creative, & work with the wind direction at times... :) We had fun none-the-less, and captured some great images & family moments for the Hoegers! And an added bonus are some images of Rachel who will be graduating from high school this year. We snapped some quick images for her grad invites! Enjoy!!

Greta

Tonight's post is all about Greta-- she's a fun-lovin pitty! We had quite the interesting session... My sister Jill (Greta's human mom) and I went to a lot of effort to get some great snapshots of Greta & all her glory! She loves treats, and she loves to run... a... lot... :) We had fun nonetheless, and I enjoyed taking a step away from the norm & delving into the world of pet photography, and trust me, it's not as easy as it looks! Greta was a good little model though, and hopefully we were able to get a few good snapshots for the walls at home. Enjoy!

Taylor S.

Meet Taylor-- I got to photograph her and her family last year, (see her below)
 

 

and now she has turned the big #1! Her session was a fun one... I think we'll just chalk it up to a bad day.... which we are all entitled to every once in a while!! She had the cutest little tutu & zebra print stockings, & her family tried their very best to try & make her smile. But it seemed we just couldn't do anything to cheer her up, except while she was in mom & dad's arms :) We ended up with a few cute images for her & her family nonetheless! I hope that they enjoy just the few, and we'll maybe try again soon, once the weather warms up. And she still has the most beautiful blue eyes that I remember from the last shoot!

Lily

I don't have much to say about this set of images except.... C-U-T-E! Meet Little Miss Lily. She is 2 weeks old today, and she is just as adorable as the day she was born! She made us work a little for these images, but they were very much worth the wait! The little stinker just didn't want to fall asleep for us. :) Her mom & grandma were fabulous helpers & did all they could to make this session a success! I hope Lily's family loves these images, and I very much enjoyed photographing this little princess! I am sure you'll be seeing more of this one in the future...

Noxx

Today's post is Noxx-- the little blue-eyed guy we love! He is so much fun to photograph, and these images definitely don't fall short on fun! His mom & dad even built a snow-fort for this shoot- how cool is that?! He had fun peeking through the holes in the sides & making snowballs from the leftover snow! We then took some shots in his more casual attire, and I just had to add the picture where the wind caught his hair just right... it looks like he's up to no good! I have really enjoyed photographing him & watching him grow up so fast! Enjoy!
