Jill & Scott {Wedding}
What a week! I just returned home from a spectacular vacation to Riviera Maya, Mexico. I returned home with TONS of candids & fun shots from our week-long stay(which will be seen in a later post). We stayed at the Barcelo, and experienced a fun relaxing getaway, as well as held a great celebration for my sister Jill's wedding. This post is full of my favorites from that day. She was nothing short of a beautiful & stunning bride, and it was a joy to take part in the wedding. I was able to snap photos before & after the wedding, and capture the beautiful details that came along with the wedding her & Scott had planned. I will let the images themselves speak for the beauty of the couple and their surroundings~
I wish Jill & Scott only happiness, love & bliss in their life together!
Enjoy!

Dreaming of Mexico...
Ok... so I'd say I'm a little excited & getting antsy for my sister's wedding...
In desperate need to get away from it all-
In 10, yes 10 days, this girl will be on the beach in my bikini with drink in hand enjoying the Mexico heat and beautiful water. Yep, be jealous-- be very very jealous... (ok well I may have lied about the bikini part, but the rest will be quite true.)
These are a few images of some of my wedding attire playing around with the macro lens I will be shooting LOTS of detail shots for my sister... and a BIG thanks to my sis-in-law for letting me borrow two of her amazing lenses to get some fabulous shots for my sister!
I simply can not wait. I just know I will come home with nothing short of a ba-gillion gorgeous pictures to edit...

In many instances there are no words to describe pain, loss, grief & anguish at a time during what may very well be your darkest hour. All you have is tomorrow, and to live in the present and be thankful for what you do have. I've come to realize the beauty in lots of things through my photography, but one thing is for sure. I am thankful for the blessing of such caring & thoughtful friends, family, and the love of one truly amazing and giving husband that would do anything for me. Here's to all the beauty in life.
