She's got style!

Sooo.... I think one word can sum up Shawnae's senior session. WOW. Oh my gosh! The images we captured are simply STUNNING! I had a truly difficult time choosing favorites on this one. I could quite literally post every single frame -- they are some of my absolute favorites!!! Shawnae had a gorgeous evening for pictures, and was such a natural with her poses, and her outfits - perfection! I loved the pops of color she chose! With senior sessions, styling and accessories can make or break a photo, and Shawnae and her mom could not have put together her different looks any better!! I had so much fun with Shawnae and her mom!! And also would like to give a shout out to Jamie Schulte again, for the FAB makeup on Shawnae and also CeAnn Palmer for tagging along for the night, and helping hold my reflector for some of these images! I am SO excited to share these with you all - Enjoy!

Can you say CUTIE-PATOOTIE!? Oh my gosh. Meet little Hunter and his family! Hunter has grown SO much since I saw him last (view his newborn session here) and he seriously could not be any more of a little charmer! Their first session was postponed, due to some rainy/crappy weather, but we had a gorgeous night the night we met up! I am in love with these images - his little smirk could not possibly be any cuter - and I do believe we have a little 49-ers player in the making, he LOVED that football! Enjoy!

John Deere Green

Meet Travis! He is the winner of this years 'windiest session ever' award!! Lol! Seriously, I am glad I didn't have a girl booked, because we would have needed to postpone!! It was SO dang windy. But he rocked his senior portraits regardless, (with the help of mom - and dad too - holding my reflector so it didn't blow away!) and we ended up with one of the most amazing skies I have ever seen by the end of his session!! And we were at his families farm, and so it made it even better -- the view from atop a field in Iowa is as sight to behold! I enjoyed working with Travis and seeing him with his John Deere hat and tractor completed the evening! I am loving his senior sneak peeks and I hope you all do too!

Sun in our hair & sand in our toes!

OH. my. gosh. These images of Megan -- prepare yourselves for an over-share guys. But I just can't help it. I have SO many amazing images its not even funny, so I am sharing a ton with you all! I photographed Megan's sister Jena (see her killer images here) a couple years back for her senior session and so I knew Megan's session would be one for the books just like her sister's! They'll have some extra tough choices ahead... heck I had a tough time even choosing for the sneak peek! Each and every one of her looks were just perfection - but my absolute favorite was her white dress and hat. I mean.... can she get any cuter!?! We had SO much fun running around town to different locations & then onto the beach to bask in the deep golden hour light - I am dying over some of those shots. Some of my all time faves for sure! And I just have to give a shout out to Jamie Schulte, who did an AH-mazing job on Megan's makeup - her look was simply flawless! Enjoy!

Too sweet for words!

Gosh, where do I begin! These three little ladies are seriously THE sweetest! (PS talk about my ovaries hurting and some serious baby-fever!!) Beyond being uber-adorable, these girls seriously ADORE their baby sister. And you can see why below - you just can't help but want to smooch and squeeze her! She's pretty cute :) I am so glad the weather was super warm, so we could take these outside! Little Ava wanted to be wide awake to make sure she could see what was going on, but once she did go off into dreamy-land, she did fabulous! I can't wait to show mom & dad the rest - these images just melt my momma heart! Enjoy!

Quite the trooper!

Alrighty folks, I am loving this year's seniors!! (As if you can't tell and I haven't said that 10 times over...lol!) Each one brings something unique and fun to the table and we just have a blast! Tonight's senior showcase is Kristi (and a few more with her twin brother Ryan too - see his full post here) We had a SUPER duper warm evening for her session, but did that phase us?! Nope - not one bit. We may have been a bit smellier by the end of the evening than I'd like to admit (especially me!) but we were no worse for the wear, and Kristi nailed her senior portraits regardless!! This girl is into basketball & FFA - but enjoys being a girlie-girl and rockin' the cowgirl boots and prom dress just as much!

It doesn't really matter how much I plan for a session, sometimes the candid, in-the-moment photos are my absolute favorite! Meet the Schulte family - whom you have seen many times over the years on my blog. I am so glad I have a best friend that let's me get my 'girl fix' every once in a while! I mean, that first photo?! SO adorable!! I had SO much fun styling this session with Kari and just adore these two spunky little ladies that would much rather be playin' in corn on the farm than be playing dress-up or bedazzled in glitter :) These guys are the sweetest, and I just adore pretty much every single frame from their shoot! Enjoy my MANY, many favorites!
