And, where'd ya get that _____?!

I find myself asking my senior girls this question, over and over throughout each session! "Where'd you get those shoes?!" Or "Gosh, where is that necklace from?!" Needless to say, I love seeing what sort of stylings my seniors come up with for their sessions and then want to go on a shopping spree afterwords because I am jealous of all the super-cute stuff they wear!! :) But it's all in good fun and fun we do have... Meet Michelle! (and her adorable lil sis Leah) She is a senior at West Delaware this year! I had an absolute blast walking around town with her and her mom (and we even snuck in a few family photos too). We wrapped up the end of the session with her and her dad out in the country by my home (one of my favorite spots to shoot) and she did SO amazing -- I am elated to share these gorgeous shots of her with all of you! What friends are for...

No two sessions are alike. This one was certainly no exception! I was SO excited to shoot this maternity/family session (you'll see why below). So I arrived nice and early at the location to make sure I knew how and where I was shooting and to run through the ideas in my head one more time. I pull into the beautiful flower and sun-drenched location, step out of my vehicle and hear..... sssssssssssssssss (the sound air makes as it is hissing out of a big gaping hole in my tire...) Nice. I thought to myself, well at least I made it here! I will worry about getting home later. The rest of the session proceeds without a hitch, I swear Rachel is the most beautiful pregnant woman on the face of the earth. Just drop dead gorgeous. And her adorable little family is just as amazing. I can not wait to meet their newest addition later in August! We shot some pretty stunning images and after the session ended, had mentioned my stroke of bad luck to them, and was going to call my hubby to come get me or fix it - Chad said - I have an air bomb, and I can just put a plug in it to at least get you back. So, I certainly took them up on the offer! I am so so lucky, thanked them for the help and apologized for the inconvenience, and without a pause, Rachel says, well that's what friends are for! And it's true - I am so thankful I not only have amazing clients, but friends as well. Enjoy~

Flower Goddess

Meet Olivia -- the first senior kicking off my 2016 grads! Gosh -- I seriously can not say it enough how lucky and blessed I am by the clients I work with. They JUST. PLAIN. ROCK!!! I had SO much fun with Olivia, her mom & her pup Sola. Plus, Olivia's outfits were too die for -- I mean, that flowered romper?! Check out the images below to see what I'm talking about - Enjoy~

Then and Now

Earlier last year, Tracy messaged me about setting up a time for family photos. I of course, happily obliged, having worked with them for her daughter Haley's senior session. Haley will soon be heading off to college, and their oldest son Tyler finishing college and entering the workforce, there was no time better than the present!! She also mentioned that and she and her husband Mike wanted to commemorate a very special time in their lives - celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary in August! It is so refreshing to see a couple so happy together and that have formed such a tight knit bond as a couple and as a family! I truly had such a fun time working with this bunch again and getting to know them even more -- we even spoke about how Tracy was actually my 4th grade teacher at one time, laughing about how well Tyler and Haley get along (compared to some sibling rivalry growing up in my family, lol!) and even completing out the session with an informal 'selfie'! Gosh, I really do LOVE my job!!
