Little Lady on the Way

Meet Jason & Krystle! I love photographing maternity sessions- this one happens to be a little babe I will meet come January/February! Jason & Krystle are having a little GIRL and I am pretty excited to meet her :) They did a gender reveal for family and friends that was pretty cool (if I would have thought  of it, I probably would have done it instead of our chalk reveal with Reid!) Jason shot an arrow at a balloon and the popped balloon revealed the gender! So cool! (or at least I think so, coming from a family full of hunters, including myself) These guys were so fun to work with! We lucked out weather-wise for a late November session - (you just never know if there will be 2 feet of snow or below freezing temps!) we had a warm foggy day, and I captured some great shots of these two! Krystle is looking and feeling great and becoming a family of three is such an exciting time in someone's life. I can't wait for them to see the joy that becoming a parent brings!

Blue Eyed Cutie

Oh my oh my!! This little family is just the cutest! (and not to mention one of the sweetest!) I can not stress enough about how important your wardrobe is to your session. And this group simply NAILED it! I just LOOOVEED their outfits! They were so perfect for the fall colors - Jen put together a great mix of rustic colors and lots of layers and textures. (my faves!) And I don't think you can get much cuter than little Miss Blakelyn - I mean, those big blue eyes!!?? Melt. She had me at that little smirk! You can just tell this little girl loves her momma & daddy! And that last photo of them … well right before they rocked the serious pose, there was some serious giggling going on!! :) I enjoyed working with these guys, and hope you enjoy their sneak peek!

Who says girls can't get a little muddy too?

Meet the Hubbard family!! These guys were a hoot to work with! Let me tell ya, a girl's gotta be quick on her feet with a soon to be 3 year old and soon to be 1 year old! :) But I wouldn't have it any other way! I work with Katie, and see her husband Cole on occasion, (on which occasions I make sure to give him plenty of crap!) So I had fun photographing their little family!! And their little guy's name is Owen (so of course I am already partial, having an Owen myself) and little Miss Chloe tried playing shy with me… but we eventually won her over too. And when we were grabbing a few quick shots of mom and dad, the kids were left to play on a blanket full of toys. Literally in under 1 minute, little Chloe (in her stark WHITE tights and fur lined boots) had crawled over to us (on the reaaaallly wet ground from that morning's rain) to see what was happening! It's All In The Family

Meet the Salow clan -- these peeps have some seriois ups! {well… except for maybe Timmy.} Lol! These guys are family of my husband's and purchased a session I donated to a benefit auction a couple years ago! And we FINALLY were able to get some updated photos of these guys, of which they desperately needed. Becky mentioned it, but I can't even recall the year they all had their last family photo taken, it was that long ago! I really do enjoy shooting families, however dysfunctional they may be!! Just kiddin' guys -- you're family, so I gotta give ya a little bit of a hard time! :) I hope they all enjoy the sneak peek, as I had a blast photographing this crew!

Cheers to Many Years and Cold Beers! {And Big Sexy & Carl Face too}

OH. MY. GOODNESS. Mark this one in the books folks, I told Nicole after the day was over, their wedding ALMOST made me want to start shooting more weddings… almost. :) Joel & Nicole's wedding day could not have been more perfect if you ask me! (But if you ask the ladies… it could have maybe been a little warmer and less windy…!) Every little thing went better than I could have asked for. From getting started right on time, to the GORGEOUS flowers, the PERFECT fall colors, and right on down to the crazy goofy fun wedding party(especially Big Sexy and Carl Face)! This one just had me smiling the whole way through. I could not be happier for Joel and Nicole - Nicole is a pretty good friend of mine, and back when we worked together she threatened me saying I had better be shooting weddings when it came to be her day! :) And I am SO glad I was able to end up being a part of their awesome day. These two make a perfect pair, and am beyond excited to be able to share this sneak peek!! I wish you guys only the best --- now get workin' on those cute little babies for me to photograph!! :) (Just kiddin' Nicole - maybe enjoy being married for just a little while first!)

Sisters In Pink

Oh my goodness… get ready for a cuteness overload!! These two little ladies were full of smiles for me! :) Seeing these two together makes me excited to see my two boys grow up and interact together! I can imagine they probably don't always get along so perfectly (really, what siblings do when they are little!) but they were just as cute and sweet as pie for me the other night! And the hugging photo - MELT. And mom couldn't have had them styled more perfectly, I just loved all the pops of color! Little Harper's blonde curls were just adorable, and Haydin's missing two front teeth… well I think that is pretty darn cute too! Enjoy ~
