Love In The Park :)

I am soooo incredibly lucky to have the ability and the privilege to do what I do. I am so thankful that I am able to meet the people that I do as well as express my creativity across such an amazing platform. I photograph a very limited number of weddings every year, and for my own personal reasons, but the ones that I do choose to shoot, are the ones similar to this, for the many reasons seen in the images below. These two knew how they wanted to get married, and they did just that. It's so refreshing to see a couple so relaxed and a wedding so in-tune with the couples feelings. They were married on the beach under the sun and gorgeous blue skies at Palisades Kepler State Park. Mother Nature blessed us with an amazingly beautiful day. I am in love with the images from Ashley & Steve's day, and I hope that they cherish them just as much, if not more than I do. 3 Isn't a crowd :)

Not sure how this family does it!!?? It's got to be a workout every day having 3 fun-loving little boys running around! I can't even handle 1 little one some days! :) They definitely kept me on my toes, and hopefully Mason & Madden are no worse for the wear, having fallen off my cute little red bench! They all did so good, and let me just say that Mr. Madden {who is turning 1 year old this week} is going to be quite the little heart-breaker like his older brothers Mason & Maverick! These kiddos are SO handsome!! And from these photos, I think you'll be able to tell just where they get their good-looks from... {check out the 2 of Jeff & Emily, can you say GORGEOUS??!!} I had a blast with this family! And their session makes me SUPER excited for fall-- these guys had an absolutely perfect evening and hints of fall color are starting to pop up! My favorite season! :) Enjoy~

Off the beaten path...

Meet Eric. I was SO excited for this session-- I have been thoroughly enjoying the senior girl shoots that I have had, but was ready to change it up, and photograph a male subject!! And Eric ROCKED his session, and we got some pretty awesome images!! I kinda ran Eric & his mom all around town & country, but I like to have variety in my sessions & keep things changing! Eric is pretty laid back and casual, and his attire reflected that! I always tell my seniors to go with what you love & what you are comfortable in. And he is of course a sports guy, so we photographed him in the gym as well as out on the field! These were some of my favorites.... :) And if you ever want to get a smile out of Eric, just ask him about his girlfriend or Iowa football! I gave him a bit of a hard time during his session, but we had a lot of fun!! {And FYI I used to baby-sit Eric & his younger brother... which makes this lady feel VERY VERY old!!} lol! Enjoy--
